California University of Pennsylvania celebrates

Diversity Awareness Month from October 1 – November 1

with free exciting programs and events for the entire university community!

 

 

FREE events from October 22 – October 28

 

Thursday, October 25

Mtv star Chelsea Settles live interview and streaming event.

The Mon-Valley’s own reality tv star comes back home to talk to our university community about her experiences on television, choosing a roommate, relationships, the fashion industry, adopting a healthier lifestyle and everything else you saw and didn’t see in her show.

 

This event will be held at 11am in the Performance Center. If you can’t be in the audience, you can still watch the event at http://sai.calu.edu/live.

 

Check out Residence Life Cinema (channel 76) all month as the movie

“The Tuskegee Airmen” will be showing at various times daily in support of Diversity Awareness Month. Check out the residence life cinema schedule in the Food Court for specific showtimes.

·         Live Israeli Folk Dances performed by the Spring Valley Youth Group on October 30 at 11am

 

·         A visual lecture on the Tuskegee Airmen and their Pittsburgh Connection

November 1 at 11am
