Diversity Awareness Month from October 1 – November 1

with free exciting programs and events for the entire university community!

 

 

FREE events from October 29 – November 1

 

Tuesday, October 30

Live Israeli Folk Dances

The youth group from Spring Valley Community will be performing Israeli folk dances. Come and experience how other cultures dance and celebrate life.

 

This event will be held at 11am at the Natali Student Center Ampitheater.

 

Thursday, November 1

A Visual Lecture on the Tuskegee Airmen and their Pittsburgh Connection

Regis Bobonis Sr., founder of the Tuskegee Airman Memorial of Greater Pittsburgh, Inc., addresses our community on the first African-American military aviators in the United States Armed Forces.

 

This event will be held at 11am in Steele Hall.

 

 

Check out Residence Life Cinema (channel 76) all month as the movie

“The Tuskegee Airmen” will be showing at various times daily in support of Diversity Awareness Month. Check out the residence life cinema schedule in the Food Court for specific showtimes.
