Support children who have lost loved ones by wearing blue on Children's Grief Awareness Day November 15
Children and teens who have had a loved one die often feel alone in their grief, like nobody understands what they're going through—especially during the holiday season. To recognize these unique, significant emotional needs of children and adolescents, the fifth annual Children's Grief Awareness Day will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 15.
What you can do:
· Wear blue on Nov. 15 to show your support.
· Visit the Children's Grief Awareness Day Facebook page and share your pictures and ideas for increasing awareness of Children's Grief Awareness Day
· Visit the Children's Grief Awareness Day website for more information—including a Toolkit of resources—on how you can participate
