California University of Pennsylvania's TRiO Upward Bound Program is seeking undergraduate and graduate students to serve as Resident Assistants and Resident Tutors with Upward Bound's 2013 Summer Academy (June 3- July 12). Applicants must be enrolled in college, have earned at least 60 college credits and possess a minimum gpa of 2.5 by the end of the 2013 Spring semester and be able to successfully complete a criminal background check. This is a great opportunity to work with high school students in a classroom and residential atmosphere while enhancing academic, leadership and time management skills. Successful applicants are compensated for 40 hours/week (salary range $2,100- $2,300) for six weeks while room and board are provided during the period of employment. Staff is on duty from Sunday afternoons through Friday afternoons and must reside in the residence hall with the students. Education majors and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply.
