SAI Board of Directors
Class IV Vacancy
Due to a recent resignation, the SAI Board is charged with filling a vacancy for an unexpired term for an undergraduate student member on the SAI Board of Directors .This position will begin immediately upon approval by the Board and run to May 31, 2013 or until a successor qualifies.
According to the bylaws, Class IV members are: “Seven members who shall be members of the Corporation and members of Student Congress.” [Congress is composed of the Student Senate, Student House of Representatives (President or designated representative from each SAI allocated club); and Student Cabinet]
Candidates must have demonstrated significant prior service to the University, are in good academic and disciplinary standing, and be able to participate in evening Board meetings.
Meetings: The Student Association, Inc., Board of Directors holds one regular meeting each month. Schedule is established each semester to accommodate the Board members schedules. For the spring 2013 semester, the meetings will be held once a month on a Wednesday evening. Special meetings may be called at the will of the President of the Student Association, Inc., Board of Directors or by a majority of the members of the Board.
