• A free style essay (you choose the subject matter or title) on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
• A title or subject that is clearly stated at the top of the essay
• Author's name, Cal U email address, and mailing address
• Essay must conform to academic standards (plagiarism, citations, etc.)

1500 words, typewritten, double-spaced (4-5 pages)
