One-click Activism for International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future.  As we celebrate women’s success we also remind ourselves of the inequalities that still need redressed.  There are many issues still affecting women globally today such as:

·       Women’s lack of access to education, clean water, healthcare, and pay equity.

·       The violence the women face through human trafficking, honor killings, and female genital mutilation.

There are so many other simple but powerful ways to celebrate as an activist.  Try some of these one-click activism tools:

·      Invest in Kiva (micro financing site)

·      Post a woman’s story on social networks
