PASSHE is excited to announce that, starting for tax year 2013, you have the option to receive your W-2 electronically via ESS. Your consent is required to receive your W-2 via ESS; otherwise, a paper W-2 will be mailed to you. Starting September 20, 2013 through the middle of December, you may sign up to electronically receive your W-2.
To those who take advantage of this electronic option, the W-2 statement will be available one to two weeks earlier than postal mailing. PLUS, the electronic W-2 will remain on ESS for several years, so it will be easily accessible any time another copy is needed. This option is available only to those who elect to receive their W-2 electronically; the W-2 forms sent via postal mail will not be accessible.
Signing up is easy! Simply log in to ESS, scroll to the “Payroll” tab and follow the instructions to elect to receive the W-2 electronically. The Payroll Office staff is available to assist you with any problems or questions you may have, and we may be reached at ext. 4426.
