November is Mental Health Awareness Month

The Women’s Studies Program is raising awareness on different mental health issues to help remove the stigma away from people seeking treatment for different mental health reasons.

On November 12, 2013 at 11am in Duda 117, Cal U’s own Dr. Moeller and Dr. Massella of the counseling center and Dr. Gruber of the Counseling Education department will discuss marginalized populations and their unique challenges to accessing resources (or lack thereof). Each panelist member will be speaking on different topics that she/he has experience with.

We invite you to join us for this interesting topic. There will be a discussion to follow the panel discussion that promises to be informative, interesting, and most of all—raise awareness on different mental health issues.

For more information, contact Dr. McClintock-Comeaux (mcclintock@calu.edu) or graduate assistant Amber Preston (pre6721@calu.edu).
