Veterans Dodge Ball Tournament
The brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma teamed up with Cal U’s Vets club to have a dodge ball tournament to raise money to send care packages to troops overseas.
Who: Cal U Students, Faculty & Staff
What: Double elimination Dodge ball tournament
When: November 6, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm
Where: Herron Racquetball Courts
Why: We are raising money to help Operation Troop Appreciation send care packages overseas to deployed units in need.
How: We are charging 5 dollars per member or 20 dollars per team to host a 4 v 4 dodge ball tournament in Herron Hall Racquetball courts. 50% of proceeds will go directly to support Operation Troop Appreciation; the remaining 50% of proceeds will be donated by the winning team to a non-profit organization of their choice. *If the winning team chooses to do so, all 100% of the proceeds may go directly to Operation Troop Appreciation.
