Faculty Professional Development Programs and Activities Related to Innovation in Teaching and Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes FY 2013 – 2014
The purpose of this funding is to provide professional development that is required to gain expertise in – to learn – innovative methods of teaching that improve student learning outcomes. The funding categories included in the Request for Proposal for this competition include:
ü Classroom Engagement and Active Learning Strategies
ü Critical Thinking and Inquiry Strategies
ü Professional and Experiential Learning Strategies
ü Persistence, Retention, and Degree Completion Strategies
ü Assessment to Improve Learning and Students’ Experience Strategies
ü Teaching and Learning with Technology Strategies
ü Adapting Teacher Education Programs
The maximum funding amount per project is $10,000 and Cal U is able to submit 2 proposals!
California University of Pennsylvania DEADLINES:
Final Proposal Deadline*
February 21, 2014
If applicant desires a Quality Circle Review, Deadline* is
January 21, 2014.
Faculty will then edit and resubmit by February 21, 2014.
*All proposals must be submitted electronically to OSPR
by 3:00 pm on the deadline date
