Seniors and Graduate Students,

You’ve studied for final exams and are ready for summer. But have you thought about your campus e-mail and N-drive account?

According to the University’s Account Retention Policy, a student’s account will be de-activated 150 days (5 months) after his/her graduation date.

Thirty days later, all e-mail, information on network drives and other stored data will be deleted permanently and the student account will be "purged" or removed from the system.

Students receive a reminder (sent to their University e-mail address) approximately 14 days before an account is deactivated. But don’t wait! Begin saving your data and e-mail contacts now.

University Technology Services reminds all graduating students to begin the process of copying important files as soon as possible. We also advise students NOT to use a calu.edu e-mail address on job inquiries or resumes, since this account is not permanent.

If you have any questions, please contact the Helpdesk at 724-938-5911, option 1.
