FROM: UTech Services RE: IMPORTANT - Planned Network Outage (9/27 - 9/28)

Due to necessary maintenance upgrades to the University Network, there will be a planned network outage starting on Saturday, September 27th at 10:00 p.m. and lasting until Sunday, September 28th at 12:00 noon.  

 

Because this is a network upgrade, the University Network will be down during much of this maintenance. All network access, including but not limited to, phones, internet, email, and VIP both on campus and off will be affected during this outage.

Though the Desire 2 Learn server is not located in the University Data Center; access will be impacted due to the outage.  If you were logged into D2L prior to the outage, you may still have access during the outage; however, during the outage access will be limited.  We ask that both faculty and students take this into consideration and plan according.
