Healthy Habits Presents:

10,000 Steps a Day Challenge

Let’s get stepping Cal U!!

How many steps do you walk each day?

Have you have heard the guidelines about walking 10,000 steps per day?  How far is 10,000 steps anyway? The average person's stride length is approximately 2.5 feet long. That means it takes just over 2,000 steps to walk one mile, and 10,000 steps is about 5 miles.

A reasonable goal for most people is to increase average daily steps each week by 500 per day until you can easily average 10,000 per day.

We will be tracking steps for the next 6 weeks – join us and get stepping!!

Program begins Monday October 20th

Sign up now to track your steps!! Free Step counter.

All you need to do is walk, track your steps and report your total each Monday for the previous week via email.  Healthy Habits will send out an email each week to help you get to your goal. Drawings for prizes will be held during the program and winners will be notified.
