At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, the University will test the Alertus campus-wide desktop alert system.
THIS IS ONLY A TEST.
If you are logged onto a University-owned computer during the test period, you will see a sample alert notice appear on your screen. Clicking on the “acknowledge” button at the bottom of the alert will clear the alert from your screen, allowing you to return to your work.
If you use a University-owned Macintosh computer, please contact Michael Mullin (mullin@calu.edu) of UTech Services by March 9 so the Alertus software can be installed before the test.
The Alertus system will be used to communicate vital information ONLY in critical emergency situations.
