Road Closure

The intersection of Third Street and Gallagher Way has been permanently closed.

PEDESTRIANS

Pedestrians will continue to have access to Gallagher and Morgan Hall.

VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

No Thru-Traffic on Third Street from Hickory to Gallagher Way:
Appropriate signage advising motorists of the closure will be posted at the intersection of Third and Hickory.  In addition, a vehicle turnaround area will be provided at the end of Third Street (near the construction fence) to allow cars appropriate space within which to turn around.
All vehicular traffic requiring access to Gallagher Hall must use one of the following detours:

From Third Street:  At the intersection of Third and Hickory streets make a RIGHT onto Hickory Street; follow Hickory until you reach the stop sign at the intersection of Hickory and Sixth streets.  At the stop sign, make a LEFT onto Sixth Street and continue on Sixth Street to Gallagher Hall.

From Adamson Stadium/Vulcan Village:  At the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Wood streets, turn RIGHT onto Pennsylvania Avenue.  Continue on Pennsylvania Avenue until you reach the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Hickory Street, then turn LEFT onto Hickory Street.  Follow Hickory Street to the stop sign at the intersection of Hickory and Sixth Street; make a RIGHT onto Sixth Street and follow Sixth Street to Gallagher Hall.
Morgan Hall can also be accessed via the River Parking lot and the Third Street crossing.
