A regional gathering place

"Our new Convocation Center, a $54 million project, will seat 6,000 in the largest indoor venue between Pittsburgh and Morgantown, W.Va. ... It is appropriate for the University to welcome its neighbors for worthwhile civic and cultural events, and the Convocation Center will permit Cal U to extend those invitations."
