MOVE-IN DAY: UPDATED

First-year students will be arriving on campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26.

Move-In Day will be followed by an extensive four-day orientation program for new students.

Volunteers who wish to help new students move into the residence halls can register in the Natali Student Center Lobby beginning at 9 a.m. Aug. 26.

Volunteers do NOT need to register in advance; they will be given a residence hall assignment and a complimentary T-shirt (while supplies last).

Because Move-In-Day falls on a work day, staff cannot volunteer unless they use leave time.

Students will be moving in to Vulcan Village throughout the day on Aug. 26. Returning students are scheduled to arrive at campus residence halls from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29.

Fall semester classes begin Monday, Aug. 30.
