

CAL U HOSTS TWO HIGH SCHOOL CAMPS JUNE 20-24

University will offer high school students a chance to explore new ideas and develop
skills during a summer robotics camp and a camp focused on graphic
communication and multimedia. Both camps will run
from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. daily, June 20-24. The camps will
provide students with exposure to specific subject matter so they can make
informed decisions regarding their education and future careers. Participants of the
Cal U Robotics Camp Build-out will contribute to an intensive and powerful
academic experience. During the week, students will learn about Computer-Aided
Design (CAD) and prototyping, Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and machining,
electronics and circuits, microncontrollers and programming, and assembly and
testing. Participants in the Graphic Communication and Multimedia
Camp will learn a wide variety of subjects from digital video and photography
to motion graphics, screen printing and offset printing. Participants
