SECOND SEEK SESSION CONTINUES THROUGH JULY 22

Summertime fun begins at Cal U with SEEK, the Summer Educational Enrichment for Kids program. Weeklong summer camps for children in grades 1-8 are held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. June 20-24 and July 18-22. Click "more" for registration information and images from the 2010 SEEK camp.

NO VULCAN FLYER SERVICE MAY 30

There will be no Vulcan Flyer service May 30 because of the Memorial Day holiday. Regular summer service will resume May 31. In summer the Flyer operates from 5 a.m.-11:30 p.m., with stops every 15 minutes.

CAL U HOSTS TWO HIGH SCHOOL CAMPS JUNE 20-24

Cal U will host weeklong camps - one in robotics and another in graphic communication and multimedia - for high school students entering grades 9-12. Both camps will meet daily from June 20-24.

SOFTBALL SEASON ENDS WITH LOSS TO KUTZTOWN

After winning a game delayed by rain, a 4-3 loss to Kutztown in the NCAA Division II Tournament brought the Vulcan softball team's season to a close. Cal U finishes with an overall 29-14 record.

ALUMNUS DRAFTED BY NFL’S TENNESSEE TITANS

Former Vulcan defensive back Tommie Campbell was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He is just the third Cal U football player to be picked in the NFL Draft, joining Judson Flint (1979) and Cal U Hall of Fame member Elmo Natali (1953).
