HOW TO LOG IN TO VULCAN INFORMATION PORTAL (VIP)

The new Vulcan Information Portal (VIP) provides secure, online access to important information at Cal U. Use VIP to register for classes, see your bill, check on financial aid and access your campus e-mail account.

Here’s how to log in to the Vulcan Information Portal (VIP):

1. Click the VIP link on the Cal U homepage, www.calu.edu. Look for the VIP logo on the left side of the homepage.
2. Log in to VIP with the same username and password that you use to access your campus e-mail account. (For students, your username consists of 7 characters — 3 letters and 4 numbers. For example, student John Smith’s username might be smi1234. Do NOT enter the “@calu.edu” part of your e-mail address when logging into VIP.)
   
   Important note: Your username and password is NOT the same as your Campus Wide ID (CWID) and PIN. You will NOT use your Campus Wide ID (CWID) and PIN to log into VIP.

Troubles? Questions? Here’s what to do:

If you do not have a campus e-mail account: Return to the homepage, www.calu.edu. Click on Quick Links and select “Get Campus Username and Password.”

If you can’t remember your username or password:  Call the Help Desk at 724-938-5911. The Help Desk is open from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday.
