Two family-friendly sporting events will be held Friday, Jan. 6, and Saturday, Jan. 7, at the new Convocation Center at California University of Pennsylvania.

On Friday

“Faith and Family Night” will feature music before and during the women’s and men’s basketball games, both versus Millersville University.

Anyone attending from area churches will be admitted to both games for one $3 ticket —just mention the church affiliation.

Admission to both games is $5 for the general public, $3 for students from other schools. Cal U students are admitted free with a valid CalCard.

A variety of prizes will be given away during the event, and the first 100 fans at each game will receive a Cal Vulcan car magnet.

On Saturday

It’s “Dollar Night,” and a $1 ticket buys admission to Vulcan men’s and women’s basketball games versus West Chester University for fans of all ages.

Selected items at the concession stands will also be $1.

Cal U students will be admitted free with a valid CalCard.

Tip-off times on both Friday and Saturday are 5:30 p.m. for the women’s games and 7:30 p.m. for the men’s games.
