EXPECTING A REFUND? CHOOSE DIRECT DEPOSIT

Students: Does your Cal U account show a balance? Do you want to receive your spring semester refund faster and more securely?

Send that money straight to the bank! Cal U now offers direct deposit for your excess financial aid refund check through VIP, the Vulcan Information Portal.

Why choose direct deposit for your refund check?

  • It’s quicker. Avoid bank processing delays so you can access your money. Deposits won’t be delayed if your mail is forwarded to a new address.
  • It’s easier. Payments are deposited right into your bank account. There’s no need to visit the bank to make your deposit.
  • It’s safer. Deposits are confidential. And there’s no risk of lost or stolen checks.

Log on through VIP, go to the Billing tab, select Direct Deposit Information and complete the form. You must enter your bank information if you wish to have your refund check deposited directly into your account.           

Look for the VIP logo on the Cal U homepage, www.calu.edu.
