A MESSAGE FROM ACTING PRESIDENT GERALDINE JONES
Posted on December 21, 2012
To: All
students, faculty, staff, alumni and University friends As you are well aware, this has
been a year of extraordinary change at Cal U. We have faced unprecedented challenges in 2012, but our University
also has made some meaningful progress. Most importantly, we have done it
together. So before the year comes to a
close, I’d like to thank every member of our Cal U family — students, faculty,
staff and alumni — for your loyal support of this institution. As we look ahead
to a new year, I hope we all can envision the even brighter days that surely
lie ahead. The holiday season reminds us of
what is truly important: home and family, good friends and colleagues, and the
opportunity to put our values into practice in meaningful ways. During the
winter break, I hope each of us can find time to reflect on the year that has
passed and to look forward to 2013, as I do, with optimism and a sense of
renewed purpose. I wish you all a holiday season
filled with peace and happiness. With warmest regards, To see a special holiday message
