WINTER BREAK INFORMATION

Students, faculty and staff should be aware of
these important dates on the academic calendar:
Vulcan Flyer Faculty-Staff Convocation
Housing
Residence halls will close for winter break at 9 p.m. Dec. 14.
Residence halls reopen for new students on Jan. 25.
Returning students can report starting at noon on Jan. 27.
Academics
Classes for the 2012 spring semester begin Jan. 28.
Parking
A waitlist parking permit sale is scheduled for Jan. 7-Feb. 1. Students may
charge the parking fee to their student account during this time.
An open sale for remaining permits will run from Jan. 28-Feb. 1.
Permits purchased after Feb. 1 must be paid for with cash, a check or a credit
card.
Vulcan Flyer service will end at 3 p.m. Dec. 15 and resume Jan. 24. There will be no service during the break.
The spring Faculty-Staff Convocation will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 29 in the
Convocation Center.
