UPDATE: MEN'S HOCKEY SEASON ENDS

Update: March 12, 2015

Cal U's men's hockey club lost 4-0 to Oakland (Mich.) University in the finals of Pool D play at the ACHA Division III National Tournament.
The Vulcans went 2-1 at the national tournament and finish the season with a 25-4-1 overall record.


Update: March 11, 2015

Cal U's men's hockey club defeated Ole Miss 7-3 during the second day of the ACHA Division III National Tournament. The Vulcans have won two straight games at the national tournament and are now 24-3-1 overall. 

On March 12, the men will play Oakland (Mich.) University at 4 p.m.


Update: March 10, 2015

Cal U's men's hockey club defeated Metropolitan State University-Denver 3-2 during the first day of the ACHA Division III National Tournament. The Vulcans are now 23-3-1 overall. 

On March 11, the men will play Ole Miss at 10 a.m.


Update: March 6, 2015

The women's hockey club lost 4-0 to Rainy River (Minn.) Community College during the third day of the ACHA Division II National Tournament. The Vulcans finish the season with an 11-7-3 overall while Rainy River advances to the semifinals.


Update: March 5, 2015

The women's hockey club tied Michigan State 3-3 during the second day of the ACHA Division II National Tournament. Junior Kelsey DeNardo scored all three of Cal U’s goals. The Vulcans are now 11-6-3 overall.

They will play Rainy River (Minn.) Community College at 4 p.m. on March 6.


Update: March 4, 2015

The women's hockey club defeated the University of Buffalo 5-2 during the first day of the ACHA Division II National Tournament. The Vulcans are now 11-6-2 overall. 

They will play Michigan State at 6:15 p.m. on March 5.

Two Cal U hockey teams are headed to the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) National Tournaments.

Women’s hockey

The women’s hockey team competes in the ACHA Division II National Tournament March 4-8 at the York (Pa.) Ice Arena.

The Vulcans begin by facing the University of Buffalo at 10:30 a.m. March 4.

The Cal U women (10-6-2 overall) are making their fourth consecutive appearance in the ACHA Division II Nationals. In 2014 the team reached the ACHA national semifinals.

They won their second consecutive CHE championship this season. 

Men’s hockey

The CHE men’s I team competes in the ACHA Division III National Tournament March 10-14 at the Pelham (Ala.) Civic Center.

Cal U (22-3-1 overall) begins the tournament by playing Metropolitan State University-Denver at 10:30 a.m. March 10.

This season marks the ninth time in 11 years that the Vulcans will compete at the ACHA Division III Nationals. Cal U won the ACHA national title in 2008 and reached the semifinals in 2011 and 2012.
