UPDATE: SALTER PLACES 17th IN 400 METERS PRELIMS

UPDATE: May 21, 2015 

Sophomore Savon Salter placed 17th in the 400-meter hurdles preliminary event with a time of 54.35 seconds at the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships on May 21, in Allendale, Mich.
 
Salter did not advance to the May 23 finals and concludes his season.

Sophomore Savon Salter will compete in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships from May 21-23 at Grand Valley State University’s Track and Field Complex in Allendale, Mich.

Salter, of Penn Hills, Pa., will compete in the 400-meter hurdles. The preliminary event is set to begin at 7:55 p.m. May 21.

If Salter advances, the 400-meter hurdles finals will be held at 4:20 p.m. May 23.
