IS2 Interactive Experience
10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. April 13
10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 14
Third Street, in front of Natali Student Center

Experience robotics, U.S. Army-style, when Cal U hosts an interactive experience provided by the Army Mobile Exhibit Company, Mission Support Battalion.

The 60-foot-long, climate-controlled Interactive Semi (IS2) is one of 11 tractor-trailers touring the United States to highlight the Army’s cutting-edge work in STEM — science, technology, engineering and math.

The family-friendly exhibit is open to the public at no charge.

The IS2 holds a self-contained classroom, two career navigation kiosks and other equipment.

Inside the vehicle, visitors can learn about robotics and drive Talon and Pac-bot machines.

Army personnel plan a “Career and Opportunities” presentation. Visitors are encouraged to speak with them about the equipment and how it functions, and to learn about Army life.

More robots! More robots!

The IS2 is just one of several robotics events upcoming at Cal U.

The public is invited to attend these events in the Convocation Center, where the robots come out to play!
