  • VULCANS WIN 2015 NCAA DII CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

    They did it! The women's basketball team won the NCAA D-II National Championship with a 86-69 victory over California Baptist. The team expects to return to campus about 9:30 p.m. March 28. Fans may gather on the patio between Hamer Hall and the Convocation Center to welcome them back.

    Junior distance runner Jade Alex Zanella finished 5th in the 1-mile finals at the NCAA Division II Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 14.

    Sophomore swimmer Jade Arganbright finished 6th in the 200-yard breaststroke finals at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships March 14, earning All-American honors for a second time.

    UPDATE: Senior Aaron Dinzeo finished second and earned All-American honors for the third time at the NCAA Division II Cross County National Championships in Louisville, Ky. Two other Vulcan runners also competed in the Dec. 6 contest.
