Summer Parking at Cal U

Main Campus Parking

Everyone who parks on the main campus MUST have a summer parking credential. Parking regulations will be enforced 24/7 throughout the summer.

All calendar/fiscal year permit holders will receive a summer credential (decal) in the mail beginning May 23.

If you do not currently have a year-round (calendar/fiscal year) parking pass, you may purchase a summer parking credential. Cost for Tier 1 parking is $225; cost for Tier 2 parking is $175.

Anyone with a Lot 24 permit who wishes to park on the main campus during the summer should purchase a summer parking credential to avoid citations.

Summer parking credentials are valid from June 1 to Aug. 19. They can be purchased ONLY in the Parking and Transportation Office, located in Manderino Library, Room 123.

Lot 24 (Roadman Park)

Parking in Lot 24 is FREE to all students, faculty and staff through Aug. 19. After that date, a Lot 24 permit will be required.

During the summer months, Vulcan Flyer shuttles will be in operation from 5 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Flyers travel regularly between Lot 24 and the main campus.

Parking Permit Renewals

Drivers can renew their parking permits for the fall semester now through June 17.

All outstanding citations must be paid in order to renew your parking permit.

Failure to renew your permit by June 17 will result in deactivation of the permit. Drivers using deactivated permits will receive citations.
