Lifelong Learning at Cal U

The Office of Lifelong Learning at Cal U coordinates a wide variety of credit and non-credit learning opportunities for people of all ages. From business and professional development to educational enrichment for adults and children, Cal U accommodates busy work and family schedules with flexible learning opportunities that can be customized to meet your educational needs. The Office of Lifelong Learning is a "one-stop shop" for adult, non-traditional and visiting students, where you'll find helpful information about course and workshop offerings, registration, admission and other details. We'll help you make the right connections to accomplish your goals, whether you are ready to begin a degree program or are simply looking for educational enrichment for yourself, your child or your employees.

Learning Opportunities

Evening College

The Evening College provides adult, non-traditional students with opportunities to enter and complete a degree program, or take credit courses for personal enrichment or professional development. The following degree programs are available through the Evening College: Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies; Bachelor of Arts in social science; and Bachelor of Science in science and technology. Summer College/Visiting Students

Each summer Cal U offers more than 200 credit classes, at the undergraduate and graduate level, to visiting students and current Cal U students. Learn more or apply online!

Customized Workforce Training

Cal U's experienced team of educators and facilitators can work with you to design a professional development program based on your company's needs. The options are wide open, ranging from customized workshops and programs to credit courses for your employees. Opportunities are available fully online, in your own location or at Cal U's campus. 60 + CAP (College Advantage Program)

The College Advantage Program enables Pennsylvania residents age 60 and older to take college courses at Cal U tuition free. Classes may be taken to earn a degree or for personal enrichment, and may be taken for credit or audited.

7 Habits Training/Character Education

Cal U has partnered with FranklinCovey to bring the renowned 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training to local companies. The Character Education Institute provides character education to Cal U students, faculty and staff, as well as organizations and businesses. Learn more.
