In addition to tuition, your bill will reflect certain fees that allow you to utilize on-campus facilities, labs, and equipment as well as cover additional costs at our Southpointe campus.

Here is a list of (per semester) fees for undergraduate students attending Cal U during the 2012-2013 academic year. 

Many students are now enrolling in both web classes and main campus classes during one semester.  In order for these students to have access to all the services available on the main campus, the fee schedule is changing.  Effective with the Fall 2008 semester, students taking even one class on main campus will pay main campus fees for that semester. 

In Accordance with PA State System of Higher Education Board of Governors Policy 1990-03-A.

The purpose of this fee is for instructional technology.  It supplements the current resources California University of PA puts into instructional technology.  It will enhance student access to technology in the classroom.

This fee has three components- Health Services Fee, Counseling Center Fee, and Career Service Fee.

This fee covers the activities and services provided by the Student Association, Inc. (SAI) and fund the many student organizations on campus.

This fee covers the cost of renovating the Old Student Union and constructing the addition to the Student Union.  Under the policy of the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education, these costs are to be paid by the students.  The project was approved in a student referendum.

As required by the policy of the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education, the cost of operating and maintaining the Student Union is to be paid by student fees.

This fee supplements funds provided by the tuition to meet the costs of educational supplies and equipment in the academic programs of the University.

This fee covers the costs of renovating the Herron Recreation Center.  Under policy of the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education, these costs are to be paid by the students.  The project was approved in a student referendum. (Approved by Council of Trustees, June 6, 2007, effective Fall 2008).

This fee covers the expenses related to the expansion and improvement of the current shuttle service between the main campus and Roadman Park and points in between.

Many graduate students attend classes either at the main campus or our Southpointe campus, as well as online. If you attend even one class on the main campus, you will be charged a main campus fee for that semester. Campus fees are determined by the campus location of individual classes. If you are enrolled at multiple campuses, you will be charged the mandatory fees for the appropriate campus.
