Summer Workshops

Do you want to learn and practice better audio recording and editing techniques?

Are you a music or technology teacher who would like incorporate more “cool music tech stuff” into your classroom?

Are you a student or member of a band who would like to be the tech “brains” in your circle?

Check out these Summer Music Workshops at Cal U:

  • ProTools 101 — June 15 to June 19, 2015
  • ProTools 110 — June 22 to June 26, 2015

ProTools is the industry standard for recording, editing and producing music. Cal U provides a complete recording station with hardware and software for each student’s use during the workshop.

The courses (and exams) can be taken separately, but participants who wish to become Pro Tools User Certified must enroll in both courses and successfully pass the User Certification Exam given at the conclusion of Pro Tools 110.

Apple GarageBandJune 29 to July 2, 2015

Also, we can provide the newest iPad or iPad mini complete with the apps needed to create, record, and mix music.  Orders must be placed at time of registration.
