Michael K. Vennum, Esq.

Biography

Michael Vennum is a partner with Burleson LLP, exclusively representing energy companies in commercial transactions and regional land development matters. Michael has published extensively on energy law and other topics and regularly speaks on energy issues. Prior to joining Burleson LLP, he served as lead real estate counsel for Cricket Communications Inc., a nationwide mobile phone services provider, and as corporate counsel to Crown Castle USA Inc., the nation's largest owner, operator and developer of wireless telecommunications towers.

Vennum received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1993 and his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in 1990. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Hon. Rochelle S. Friedman of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, where he developed expertise in state regulatory and agency appeals. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio and New York.
