What Can I Do with a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis?

You can have an impact on the lives of others in a variety of ways in a number of different settings. You may work in hospitals, clinics, mental health facilities or community agencies, or opt to work in corporations or government agencies. Typically, BCBAs work directly with patients and often help families or other caregivers manage the care of the patient.

Graduate Outcomes

  1. Exhibit behaviors consistent with the range of evidence-based models
  2. Facilitate and conduct comprehensive person-centered planning that incorporates participation in school, home, community and vocational activities
  3. Facilitate and conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments
  4. Use assessment information to identify and incorporate function-based techniques into behavior intervention plans
  5. Monitor, evaluate and revise behavior intervention plans based upon a range of data
  6. Integrate behavioral, educational, medical, mental health, related services, and personal goals into comprehensive behavior intervention plans

  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Cumulative graduate GPA of 3.30 or greater

  • Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Cumulative graduate GPA below 3.30 will be reviewed for a decision
