California University’s Arabic Language and Culture programs are designed to provide students with the skills and experiences that are needed in the job market.

Emphasis will be on reading, writing, and speaking in Modern Standard Arabic. Students also will have the option to learn the Egyptian and Levantine dialects. Objectives and subject matter cover cultural topics ranging from geography and religions to cuisine and multiculturalism.

Moreover, the available capstone courses are specifically designed to serve two significant purposes: 1) enhance Arabic language skills; and 2) gain a deeper appreciation of the Arabic culture.
