Dr. Joseph Marino Scholarship

The late Dr. Joseph Marino, a retired anthropology professor from California University of Pennsylvania, established an academic scholarship in his name as a way to recognize overall outstanding academic excellence.

The Joseph Marino Scholarship is worth between $1,000 and $2,500 and is nonrenewable.  Eligible students in the social sciences must have at least a sophomore standing, hold a minimum of a 3.5 GPA and have taken at least two anthropology classes, with a grade of not less than an "A" in those classes. The scholarship is awarded to a qualified student or students each spring semester.
