General Studies: Career Planning

XCP 194 is a one-credit career planning course. The course is intended primarily for general studies students, but the course is open to any student who is interested in career planning. The course will discuss testing available for students trying to figure out a major or students wanting to make a career change. The goal of the course is to help you understand your interests, match interests with a major area and set goals to achieving your career objective.  The course is offered both in the fall and spring semesters.

Cal U prepares you to enter the workforce with knowledge, integrity, character and experience. With the help of the Career and Professional Development Center, we'll connect you to potential employers through networking events, job shadowing opportunities, on-campus recruiting, job and internship fairs, and organizational visits.
