Right now, there are probably lots of people telling you what you should do with your life. And, at times, you may feel like you should already have a clear, set-in-stone picture of what your future should look like.
But success starts with a rough idea that gets clearer along the way. At Cal U, we can help you fill in the details—details that fit you.

When: Check-in starts at 8 a.m. Things will wrap up around 1:30 p.m.

8 - 9 a.m. Doors Open, Check-In and Campus Marketplace at Natali
Need to talk to Financial Aid or the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD)? The marketplace is a great chance to connect with our staff in one centralized location.

You can talk to folks from Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing, Study Away, OSD, Academic Success, Student Services and more. Transfer counselors will also be on hand. Plus, you can learn about clubs and organizations and other opportunities.
9 - 9:45 a.m. Welcome and Overview from Admissions
President Geraldine Jones will welcome you to campus. (She’s a Cal U alum herself—she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees here.)

Then, Admissions and Financial Aid will give you the rundown on somethings that are handy to know.
9:45 - Noon Campus and Residence Hall Tours and Academic Department Visits
When you register, you’ll be asked to identify your major. This helps us to match you up with a tour that’s right for you. (And if you don’t know what your major is yet, no problem! We have a tour just for you, too!)

With a group tour led by students and staff from the Cal U Admissions team, you’ll get to check out the academic department that goes with your major and meet faculty from that department. (Or, if you’re still exploring majors, we’ll introduce you to some resources that can help you on that journey.) And, of course, we’ll also show you around campus. You’ll be touring with other students who have similar interests—you might even meet your future roommate!

After the tour, be sure to visit the HerronRecreation and Fitness Center marketplace. You’ll get to learn more about sports clubs, athletics and the amazing health and wellness programs we offer on campus.
Noon - 1:30 p.m. Lunch in the Gold Rush/Cal U Cornerstones
Grab a bite to eat in the Gold Rush. Eating on campus is part of the college experience—and we think you’ll love it!

Then touch base with Cal U staff to talk about campus resources that can help you achieve your goals. Pepper them with questions--they’re an awesome resource themselves!

Before you head out, don’t forget to pick up your free Cal U t-shirt!

This schedule is subject to change.
