Andrew Stockey
WTAE-TV
Andrew Stockey is an anchor and sports director for WTAE-TV, Pittsburgh, where he anchors the 5 p.m. news broadcast and the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. sports segments of Channel 4 Action News. He is the host of WTAE Channel 4 “Operation Football” and co-host of “Black and Gold Primetime.” A Chicago native, Stockey grew up in Simsbury, Conn., and graduated from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University.
Melanie Taylor
100.7 STAR
Celebrating her 24th year in broadcasting in Pittsburgh, Melanie Taylor (Bradburn) is the  co-host of “The Bubba Show” on weekday mornings on STAR 100.7 FM radio.  A certified group fitness and Barre Connect instructor, she also teaches at the Mon Valley HealthPlex in Rostraver Township and Feel the Rhythm Dance Studio in Charleroi.  She graduated from Monessen High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in communication, with honors, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

LILLIAN M. BASSI CORE VALUES AWARD
Kerri Rowan ’77
Kerri Rowan, of Arlington, Va., is a Uniontown native whose distinguished career includes three decades of working with prominent consulting firms near Washington, D.C., primarily in support of federal initiatives. Since 2007 she has been employed by the Internal Revenue Service, where she oversees key information technology modernization programs for the IRS. A patron of the arts, a world traveler and a generous scholarship donor, she exemplifies the University’s core values of integrity, civility and responsibility.

PennWest California athletic Hall of Fame
Sam DiMatteo ’10
BASEBALL
Les Bakos (California, Pa./California High School) was a Vulcans pitcher 1965-1968. He helped the baseball program earn NAIA District 18 playoff appearances in 1966 and 1968, and in 1967 he led the team with a 1.35 ERA and 26.1 innings pitched. His 7-1 senior-season pitching record still ranks eighth in the Vulcans’ record book.
Terence Johnson ’09
FOOTBALL
Cornerback Terrence Johnson (Braddock, Pa./Woodland Hills High School) led the Vulcans in interceptions each season from 2006-2009 and finished with 16 career picks, the most in recent school history. He earned multiple All-American accolades and was a three-time all-conference selection.
John Luckhardt
COACH
John Luckhardt (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley High School) compiled an 88-33 record and a .727 winning percentage during his tenure as head football coach, from 2002-2011. The winningest coach in the program’s history, he led the Vulcans to five NCAA Division II playoffs, including three trips to the national semifinals.
Renata Silva ’10, ’11
VOLLEYBALL
Renata Silva Gray (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Ateneu) was a four-time all-conference setter for the volleyball team from 2006-2009. A multiple All-American honoree, she holds the school record with 5,507 assists and ranks third in school history with 497 sets. She was the volleyball program’s first Academic All-American.
Jim Snyder ’85
FOOTBALL
Defensive back Jim Snyder (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bishop Boyle High School) played for the Vulcans from 1981-1984. The two-time all-conference safety earned Associated Press All-American honors and, in his last three seasons, posted 220 tackles (108 solo) with 14 interceptions, 23 pass break-ups, six sacks and four fumble recoveries.
