    Campus Safety

Your safety is our No. 1 concern

California University is committed to maintaining a safe, secure environment for learning, living and working. The Cal U Police Department is on duty 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

To report an emergency or crime on campus, visit the police station in the Pollock Building on Hamer Way, near the railroad crossing, or use the nearest campus phone to call HELP (4357) or 911.

Register for Cal U Text Alerts

Cal U Alerts is a cellphone text messaging system that provides notification about emergency situations that pose an imminent physical threat to the University community. Students, faculty, staff and administrators must register to receive the alerts. Read frequently asked questions or get more information about text alerts.
