The English as a second language (ESL) post-baccalaureate certificate program is designed for certified teachers. It builds skills related to language, culture, instruction, assessment and professionalism that are relevant when working with English language learners. The curriculum is aligned with the Pennsylvania Department of Education ESL Program Specialist Standards and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Standards.
