Herron Recreation and Fitness Center is located in Herron Hall and serves the University community. Students are admitted upon presentation of their valid CalCard. Students may purchase memberships for their spouse and/or children (age 16 or older) for a fee. The facility includes a lap pool, a steam room, a whirlpool, saunas, weight training equipment, fitness classes, cardiovascular equipment, two gymnasiums, a climbing wall, an indoor walking track and a variety of exercise machines. The facility also coordinates and manages University sports clubs; intramural and extramural sports; and the outdoor recreation program.
