Whether it's connecting students with internships, hosting jobs fairs, promoting entrepreneurialism or connecting businesses with government contract opportunities, PennWest California is committed to nurturing careers and working collaboratively with Pennsylvania's business community. We look forward to building corporate partnerships and hosting training activities or other business events at our corporate campus at Southpointe.
PennWest California's Career & Professional Development Center connects employers with qualified candidates to fill co-ops, internships or full-time positions. The Career Center also hosts career fairs, on-campus recruiting events and company visits.
The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at PennWest California assists entrepreneurs at PennWest California and in the wider community. It also allows current PennWest California students to gain insights and participate in mentorship programs with entrepreneurs in the region.
PennWest California Educational Alliance
PennWest California partners with businesses, nonprofits and membership organizations to provide tuition discounts and other benefits to verified employees or members.
In affiliation with the Society for Human Resource Management, PennWest California offers the SHRM-CP®/SHRM-SCP® Certification Preparation course to SHRM members, other HR professionals and seniors in the Human Resource Management major.
GACO - PTAC
The Government Agency Coordination Office (GACO) is a Procurement Technical Assistance Center that aids area companies in their pursuit of federal, state and local government contracts and subcontracts.
The Internship Center links employers and students for a mutually beneficial experience. Employers become partners in education with PennWest California and have a cost-effective way of hiring potential employees.
