The center provides education, consulting and training services to PennWest California students, faculty and staff, as well as community members and small-business owners, to promote economic development in the Mon Valley region.

Prepare for the Business Plan Competition

Win $10K for your start-up! Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education holds an annual business plan competition for students at State System universities, with a top prize of $10,000.

The Innovation Center conducts workshops to prepare PennWest California undergraduate and graduate students to enter and compete in the annual event. PennWest California students utilize the D2L learning management system, among other tools, to learn more about the competition and how to develop an effective business plan.
