The Academic Scheduling Center

Don't hesitate to take advantage of Cal U's extensive advisory and consultation services!  Students should feel free to consult with professors, academic advisers, department chairs, academic deans and staff of the Academic Scheduling Center. All of these University representatives maintain regular office hours for student consultations. Faculty advisers are available to assist students in planning their academic programs, but students have the responsibility for meeting all requirements for their degrees.

Office of Academic Success

The Office of Academic Success is the foundation for student resources and the heart of student success.  We provide students with assistance and support to reach academic and personal goals.  The Academic Scheduling and Placement-Testing Center, which is part of the Office of Academic Success, serves to coordinate schedule development for entering and existing students, pre-register students in developmental courses, monitor successful completion of academic coursework, and provide academic assistance to all students, and serves as the area responsible for student retention and academic success, students on academic probation, and those seeking assistance of any kind.  The center does not replace faculty advising but helps to coordinate and supplement it. Meet the student success facilitators and other staff in the Office Academic Success.  This office also advises undeclared students. If you have declared a major, the department for your area of study will assign you an adviser to help you meet your degree requirements and graduate in four years.
