CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptance to Cal U! We look forward to your arrival on campus for the spring semester.

In anticipation of your arrival, we have prepared an informative orientation event guaranteed to be a very beneficial experience.  For your convenience, you may attend Cal U for Life New Student Orientation on EITHER Friday,January 17th OR Saturday, January 18th, 2014. If your are planning to live in our campus residence halls or Vulcan Village, we suggest that you plan to attend on Saturday, January 18th as this dates coincides with move-in day 

Move-In schedule for Saturday, January 18th, 2014

On-campus and Vulcan Village move in schedule is as follows:

9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.  


Orientation activities include informational sessions and activities designed to ease your transitional anxiety! Topics will include Academic Success, D2L, Time Management, Personal Wellness, Personal Success, Career Services/Internships, Mentoring and many more! 

CLASSES BEGIN Tuesday, January 21st, 2014.

To prepare for your orientation session and the start of the spring semester you SHOULD:

1) Contact the Office of Student Orienation Programs at (724)938-1626 or email to schedule your orientation date. Cal U for Life New Student Orienation is REQUIRED and ALL new students to the university are expected to attend. 

2) If you have not yet submitted your advanceed tuition deposit, please contact the Office of Admissions at 888-412-0479 or email

3) Contact the Academic Scheduling Center to review and confirm your Spring 2014 class schedule. You may do this via email at  or phone 724-938-1608. Please include your CWID and major in all communications.
