STUDENT POSTER GUIDELINES

Submission Deadline has been EXTENDED to Oct. 25, 2019 

Students from all participating schools are encouraged to present their work at the 2019 State System Summit. Individual submissions of complete papers, scholarly activity or programming should be based on this year’s theme, Intersectionality for Student Success.

Your submission should include these elements:

  1. Title of the paper, scholarly activity, or programming (maximum of 50 characters or spaces).
  2. Presenter’s contact information: Must include name, major, year, institution mailing address, cell phone number, and email address.*
  3. Abstract (maximum of 50 words, for conference program).
  4. Presentation description (maximum 250-400 words) and must include:
    1. Title of the paper.
    2. Scholarly activity or programming.
    3. Target audience.
    4. Summary of presentation.
    5. Relevance to conference theme.
    6. Learning outcomes, if applicable.
  5. Brief biography for all presenters (maximum 150 words for each presenter).
  6. Technology needed: laptop, Internet access, etc.
  7. A statement of professional responsibility (see below).

*If the scholarly work has multiple authors, indicate who will be presenting.

Submit your student poster information to SocialEquity@calu.edu no later than Oct. 25, 2019.

Statement of Professional Responsibility

In submitting the attached paper, panel or poster, I/we recognize that this submission is considered a professional responsibility. I/we agree to present this panel, paper or poster if it is accepted and programmed. I/we further recognize that all who attend and present at the 2019 State System Summit at PennWest California must register and pay required fees.

Conference registration will begin Sept. 16 and continue through Oct. 18, 2019, online at calu.edu/summit2019.
