Dr. Brenton Wilburn

Biography

Dr. Brenton Wilburn is the robotics engineering technology program coordinator and an assistant professor in the mechatronics engineering technology program at PennWest California.

 

He completed his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia Univeristy in 2014. His doctoral research focused on adaptive fault-tolerant control of unmanned aircraft.

 

He has experience in international robotics competitions, including NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition and NASA Mars RASC-AL Robo-Ops Competition. He is the faculty mentor for the PennWest California Robotics Club.

 

Dr. Wilburn has published many papers in the areas of mechatronics, robotics, control systems, and education.
