Darla Timbo, Psy.D., LPC graduated from Carlow University in 2016 with doctorate in counseling psychology.
She began working in the field of psychology and mental health in 2005 in various areas ranging from children, forensics, and college counseling. She is pursuing psychology licensure and is a licensed professional counselor practicing in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Dr. Timbo is working in the CalU Counseling Center as a clinician. She splits most of her time between Cal U and Atlas Counseling Services, where she is working with diverse and multicultural populations in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas, work including mental health, drug and alcohol agencies, and forensic population, as well as teaching bachelor's and graduate level courses at various universities.
Dr. Timbo's research areas include multiculturalism, diversity, and client outcomes in counseling settings. She looks forward to continuing to pursue her passions and serve the Penn Hills community.
